My name is Andrew Hitch, founder and director of Direct Ascent Ltd. I bring over 25 years of experience in the oil, gas and energy sector. Starting out as a Chemical Engineer I soon realised that I had two distinctive strengths;
- the ability to understand and clearly communicate complex technical and organisational concepts.
- the leadership skills to engage people at all levels in a common goal and to deliver on a shared vision.
These have enabled me to consistently deliver significant improvements in road safety, supply & distribution costs, IT delivery, and accounting control working in Europe, USA, and the Far East.
To be successful at delivering large projects in complex organisations you have to work with a huge variety of people. My ability to identify and work with people and understand their perception of the challenges they face is key to my continued success in delivering change.
